Barts Electric, a national electrical construction contractor, takes pride in its rich legacy and commitment to nurturing the next generation of electricians. In a recent video, one of their seasoned electricians, a proud parent, shared insights into the growth and development of his son, Dayton, who has become a top foreman at Barts Electric.

Generations of Expertise

The electrician fondly speaks about Dayton’s journey within the company, expressing immense pride in his son’s achievements over the past five years. Dayton, now a top foreman, has not only excelled in his role but has also become a crucial part of the Barts Electric family. What makes Dayton’s story even more remarkable is that he is the fourth generation in his family to embrace the electrical trade, continuing a legacy that spans several decades.

The seasoned electrician reflects on his own journey as a third-generation electrician, highlighting the significance of family tradition within the industry. With a touch of nostalgia, he mentions being the last of seven in his family to take up the electrical trade, emphasizing the enduring connection between family and the electrical profession.

Supportive Community at Barts Electric

While Dayton’s achievements are notable, the electrician stresses the collaborative environment at Barts Electric that has contributed to his son’s success. Numerous foremen, including Eric SS and Chad UTS, have played crucial roles in Dayton’s professional development. The sense of community and support within the company is evident as experienced individuals willingly guide and mentor younger professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Overcoming Challenges and Seeking Guidance

One key aspect highlighted in the video is the transformation in Dayton’s approach towards challenges. Initially hesitant to reach out for help, Dayton has evolved into someone unafraid to ask questions and seek guidance from experienced colleagues. This shift, as the proud parent notes, is a testament to the nurturing environment at Barts Electric, where the importance of seeking assistance is recognized and celebrated.

Opportunities for Aspiring Electricians

As a national electrical construction contractor, Barts Electric is not only committed to maintaining its legacy but also to actively welcoming new talent. The company is continuously on the lookout for both electrical apprentices and experienced journeymen. For those aspiring to become electricians, Barts Electric provides a dynamic and supportive environment to learn, grow, and contribute to a legacy that spans generations.

Barts Electric invites electricians and individuals aspiring to join the electrical trade to explore career opportunities with the company. Whether you are starting your journey as an apprentice or are an experienced journeyman seeking new challenges, Barts Electric is always on the lookout for passionate individuals to contribute to their vibrant community.

In conclusion, the Barts Electric legacy is not just about electrical construction; it’s about family, growth, and creating a supportive community for the next generation of electricians. Very proud of him. He’s a fourth-generation electrician. I’m a third. He’s my next one, so my family, we’ve all been electricians. I’m the last one of seven, so he’s my top one. He’s doing great. I think he’s doing awesome for Barts Electric. I mean, I help him as well as we have a lot of other foremen in the crowd that help him. Eric SS helped him a bunch, Chad UTS helped him. He’s not scared anymore to reach out and ask questions, and that’s a pride thing. You never ever want to keep that stuff inside because you want to ask and make sure you’re doing it correctly. I pride myself that he’s been able to do that.
