Barts Electric, a national electrical construction contractor, is not just a workplace; it’s a platform for electricians to thrive and achieve their career goals. In this blog article, we’ll delve into the experiences of one second-year apprentice who shares insights into the unique opportunities and growth that Barts Electric offers to individuals in the electrical industry.

Creating Goals and Achievements

The journey begins with a second-year apprentice who is about to start school, marking over a year at Barts Electric. What sets Barts Electric apart is its commitment to allowing individuals to create new goals and ideas, fostering an environment where achievements are not just encouraged but celebrated.

Compared to other companies, Barts Electric stands out for providing electricians with the freedom to set and achieve personal and professional goals. Whether you are a man or a woman, the company believes in empowering its workforce to better themselves not only as professionals but also as individuals.

Encouraging Growth and Innovation

Barts Electric instills a culture of embracing new challenges and reaching for the stars. The company encourages its electricians to step out of their comfort zones, knowing that growth and success come from pushing boundaries. In contrast to other companies where such opportunities might be limited, Barts Electric stands as a beacon of possibilities.

The Power of Hard Work and Rewards

At the heart of Barts Electric’s philosophy is the principle that hard work is the key to success. The second-year apprentice highlights the correlation between putting in the effort and reaping the rewards. Unlike other workplaces where progression may be slow or limited, Barts Electric acknowledges and rewards dedicated individuals.

Opportunities for Advancement

Barts Electric not only values hard work but actively seeks to provide opportunities for advancement. The apprentice shares a personal experience where, by consistently putting in effort and asking questions, an opportunity for more responsibility arose. This highlights the company’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent within its workforce.

I am a second-year apprentice, and I’ll be starting school soon, either next month or late this month. I’ve been here for a little over a year; July was my one-year mark. One thing I’ve learned about Barts Electric, being here for that year compared to other companies I’ve personally been with, is that Barts Electric allows you to create new goals, ideas, achievements, and things like that to better yourself as a man or a woman in your own life.

At Barts Electric, they like to get you in the habit of doing new things and shooting for the stars, trying to reach new heights. This is something that may not be possible in other companies, where you might be stuck in the same position for a long time. Working at Barts Electric, I’ve learned that you get out what you put in. If you put in the hard work, you get rewarded for it.

I came here and worked as hard as I could. I asked a lot of questions, even the same questions. It doesn’t matter how mad they get at you; you have to get the information in your head. That’s what I did, and eventually, an opportunity came. “Hey, do you want more responsibility?” they asked. “Here you go. Here’s an apartment complex. Can you handle it?” I said, “Yeah, I can prove it.” Now, I’m here, running work as a second-year apprentice.
