At Barts Electric, the work goes far beyond electrical construction projects—it’s about people, teamwork, and growth. As a national electrical construction contractor, Barts Electric has built a reputation not just for delivering high-quality projects, but also for creating a workplace culture that supports electricians at every stage of their careers.

A Culture That Cares

The team at Barts Electric knows that strong company culture makes all the difference. Employees describe it as one of the best cultures they’ve ever experienced. From leadership to field staff, everyone is invested in helping each other succeed. Managers, foremen, superintendents, and project managers are approachable and willing to provide guidance when challenges arise. That kind of support helps new apprentices gain confidence and ensures journeymen have the resources they need to continue excelling in their trade.

More Than Just a Job

At Barts Electric, employees aren’t just numbers—they’re valued members of the team. Events like company lake days, where team members can enjoy boating, jet skiing, tubing, and sharing food together, highlight how much leadership values connection and camaraderie. Getting paid for a full day while enjoying activities outside of the jobsite is a stark contrast to many other workplaces. These events allow employees to relax, recharge, and build lasting relationships with colleagues and even the executive team.

Career Growth in Electrical Construction

For those considering a career in the electrical trade, Barts Electric offers opportunities to grow from day one. Apprentices receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced professionals, and journeymen can continue to expand their skills with the support of a company that values expertise and hard work.

Always Hiring Skilled People

Barts Electric is continually hiring electrical apprentices who want to start their careers, as well as experienced journeymen ready to take on new challenges. If you’re looking for a company that values both your professional growth and your well-being, Barts Electric is the place to be.

We just went out on the lake and did some tubing and rode out on boats. We had some pulled pork sandwiches together, and we’ve just been on jet skis, the boats, tubing, wakeboarding, and meeting up with some of the guys from various job sites.

All the other jobs I have worked, Barts Electric has definitely had the best culture that I’ve been a part of. If you are struggling in any regard, they are willing to build you up. I know that my manager, my lead, my foreman, my superintendent, all the way up to my PM are all willing to help me if I was to reach out to them.

Paid a full day to come to the lake, eat food, and go on the tube—such a stark contrast from my last job. Barts Electric seems to really care about their employees more than a lot of companies I’ve worked for. They make it a point to do a lot of things personally, like these lake days where they get the employees out and around the executive team.

The leadership at Barts Electric has been great. Everyone’s super down to earth, and it’s a great company to work for.
