Position Summary:

We are seeking a data-driven Business Analyst to own the day-to-day development, maintenance, and refinement of forecasting and data models that inform executive decision-making. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into forward-looking insights, explaining uncertainty and trade-offs, and helping leaders understand what the data is signaling, and what it is not.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve forecasting models for key business metrics (revenue, demand, capacity, cost, etc.)
  • Build and manage analytical models that support planning, scenario analysis, and strategic trade-offs
  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to:
    • interpret model outputs
    • understand assumptions, sensitivities, and confidence levels
    • evaluate “what-if” scenarios and risks
  • Translate ambiguous executive questions into structured analytical problems
  • Perform variance analysis between forecasts and actuals; identify drivers of deviation
  • Define, calculate, and refine KPIs used in executive reporting
  • Build dashboards and executive-ready reports that emphasize insight over volume
  • Ensure data integrity by validating inputs, assumptions, and methodologies
  • Clearly document model logic, assumptions, and limitations for transparency and continuity
  • Collaborate with data engineering, finance, and operations to improve data sources and forecasting accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
  • 2–4+ years of hands-on experience building forecasting or analytical models in a business context
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and at least one analytics or BI too
  • High attention to detail combined with big-picture thinking

We offer competitive pay and a generous benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, six paid holidays and a 401k with generous match.
