At Barts Electric, we believe that every wire we run and every circuit we complete is part of something bigger — something that changes lives. As a national electrical construction contractor, our mission goes far beyond powering buildings. We help power communities.

Recently, members of the Barts Electric team gathered in Colby for a powerful meeting with Bart Walker and Will, two leaders who embody the company’s dedication to quality, teamwork, and care for people. Their visit wasn’t just about reviewing work or solving jobsite challenges — it was about showing genuine support for the crew and the project’s greater purpose.

One of our electricians shared how deeply Will’s words resonated with him. Coming from the KBY community, he understood firsthand the impact of building something essential — a hospital that provides a safe place for families to welcome new life.

“This is the only hospital where you can deliver a baby,” he said. “My wife nearly died twice. If we didn’t have a hospital, I’d have a dead wife. So building this hospital — giving people a place where they can have babies safely and trust their doctors — that means everything.”

Moments like these remind us that at Barts Electric, we aren’t just working on electrical systems — we’re helping create places where real lives are touched, saved, and changed. Every conduit, every light fixture, and every switch connects to a much greater purpose: helping communities thrive.

A Career That Makes a Difference

For electricians and those who want to become electricians, Barts Electric offers more than just a job — it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful. Whether it’s lighting up a hospital, a school, or a new business, you’ll know your work has a lasting impact.

Barts Electric is always hiring new electrical apprentices and experienced journeymen who want to grow their skills, work with a supportive team, and be part of projects that make a difference across the country.

If you’re ready to start or advance your career in the electrical trade, there’s a place for you at Barts Electric — where we’re not just building buildings, we’re building better communities.

Yesterday we had a meeting with Bart Walker. Will was there and showed that they cared when they came out to Colby to talk to us and help try to fix problems and make the job as good as it can be, and the best it can be. It really showed that they cared.

Will’s speech really hit me good because he was talking about KBY, and I’m from KBY and the community there.

This is the only hospital where you can deliver a baby. Now, my wife nearly died twice. So if we didn’t have a hospital, I’d have a dead wife. That really hit me hard. It made me feel really good about what we’re doing here — building a hospital, building a hospital where they can birth babies and have a safe hospital with doctors you trust.

Just having that resource here is huge. And Will spoke that into existence, and it was really good. I really enjoyed that speech from Barts Electric.
