At Barts Electric, our work goes far beyond wires, panels, and projects. We believe that strong companies are built by strong people—and taking time to recognize and appreciate those people is a core part of who we are.

Recently, Barts Electric came together as a company to celebrate a Thanksgiving lunch that reflected exactly what we stand for: gratitude, teamwork, and shared purpose.

Bringing the Barts Electric Team Together Nationwide

As a national electrical construction contractor, Barts Electric has electricians and staff working across multiple states—from Florida to Arkansas to Missouri, where our main office is located. For this special occasion, we invited electricians, field crews, and office staff to join us for a company-wide Thanksgiving lunch.

For team members who couldn’t make it in person, meals were delivered directly to job sites so that no one was left out. Afterward, employees joined together either in person or virtually through a company-wide meeting to reflect on what we’re thankful for—both personally and professionally.

A Culture Built on Growth and Second Chances

During the meeting, several team members shared what gratitude means to them. One electrician, Chris, spoke about being thankful not just for a job, but for the opportunity to learn, grow, and provide for his family. He shared how leadership at Barts Electric believed in him, gave him a chance, and helped him build a long-term career in the electrical trade.

Stories like this are common at Barts Electric. We believe in:

  • Developing people, not just filling positions

  • Supporting long-term careers in the electrical industry

  • Offering opportunities for growth, responsibility, and leadership

Gratitude, as shared during the meeting, isn’t just about saying “thank you.” It’s about recognizing the victories we’ve achieved together, the people who helped us along the way, and the chance to become better professionals—and better people.

Why Electricians Choose Barts Electric

Barts Electric is proud to be a place where electricians at every stage of their career can thrive. From apprentices just starting out to experienced journeymen, we provide:

  • Consistent work with a national electrical construction contractor

  • Opportunities for advancement and skill development

  • A values-driven culture focused on respect, accountability, and teamwork

  • Leadership that invests in people and believes in second chances

When like-minded men and women come together—people who care about their craft, their coworkers, and their future—it creates a company culture that’s not only productive, but meaningful.

Thinking About a Career in the Electrical Trade?

If you’re an electrician—or someone considering becoming one—Barts Electric wants you to know that we are always hiring.

We are actively looking for:

  • Electrical apprentices who want to learn the trade and build a solid future

  • Experienced journeymen electricians ready to take the next step in their career

At Barts Electric, you’re not just joining a job—you’re joining a team that values hard work, gratitude, faith, growth, and people.

Thank You to the Barts Electric Family

Moments like our Thanksgiving celebration remind us that the company is the people. To every electrician, office team member, and leader across our projects nationwide—thank you for all you do. Your commitment is what makes Barts Electric a great place to work and grow.

If you’re ready to be part of something bigger, we’d love to hear from you.

Today we celebrated our Thanksgiving luncheon with the entire company. We invited all of the electricians and office staff from Florida to Arkansas to Missouri, here where our main office is, and we just invited them in for a big lunch. We took lunch out to the guys in the field that weren’t able to make it in. Made sure that everybody had lunch today, and then they all joined us either in person or virtually through our Teams meeting for a company meeting where we talked about things that we were grateful for.

One of the many things I have to be thankful for, and then of course, as we look around the room, we look at where we work, we’re thankful for each other.

So my name is Chris, and honestly I’m grateful for this job, for the ability to learn, to grow, and to be able to take care of my family. I’m pretty thankful for my family as well, but also just like second chances in general, like just the ability to change and to improve, to be forgiven, to forgive.

Leadership here at Barts Electric saw something in me and gave me the opportunity. I made the decision in my mind a long time ago that I was going to be doing this for the rest of my life.

To me, gratitude is a reflection of thanks. It’s taking a moment to acknowledge what’s been given to you, what people have done for you, and the victories you’ve been a part of.

In my life, in my experience, God has to be first.

And I’m incredibly thankful to the Barts Electric family for every opportunity that I’ve been given to become a better husband, a better father, and a better man. When men and women get up and they tell me what they’re thankful for, it is completely aligned and what we want as a company for you and the people that we wanted to work with and be with every day. And that’s what makes it fun, Ree, when you have like-minded people that care and you are the company. So, thank you for all you do.
