Building a Career with Barts Electric: Training, Growth, and Opportunity

At Barts Electric, we believe electrical construction is more than just a job—it’s a career that shapes lives, communities, and the future of the industry. As a national electrical construction contractor, Barts Electric provides opportunities for both seasoned journeymen and those just beginning their journey as apprentices.

One of the things that makes Barts Electric unique is the emphasis on mentorship. Our experienced team members don’t just install systems—they teach, guide, and invest in the next generation of electricians. That “light bulb moment,” when an apprentice first understands how something works by putting their hands on it, is a reminder of why training matters. It’s rewarding for the teacher, and career-defining for the student.

Barts Electric also fosters a culture of growth and excellence. There’s a competitive edge here—not against each other, but with each other. Everyone wants to get better, more efficient, and more professional. That drive creates an environment where respect and opportunity go hand in hand.

As one of our team members put it, “It’s really an investment in your career, and you’ve got to look at it that way.” That mindset is what turns someone from simply being an installer into becoming a true electrician—skilled, confident, and proud of their craft.

Beyond technical skills, Barts Electric builds relationships. Our people enjoy getting to know their crews, working alongside talented peers, and seeing the tangible results of their efforts. Watching the lights come on after a successful installation isn’t just about electricity—it’s about the satisfaction of creating something real and lasting.

For those considering a career in the trade, Barts Electric is always looking for motivated individuals. Whether you’re just starting as an apprentice or bringing years of experience as a journeyman, we welcome people who are ready to learn, teach, and grow with us.

The work is challenging, exciting, and meaningful. At Barts Electric, you’re not just building projects—you’re building a career.
