Working on the underground team, Colton handles critical tasks such as underground PVC installations, stub-ups for panels, and setting light and security poles. Recently, he’s taken on additional leadership responsibilities, overseeing small excavation crews and learning to read and interpret construction prints.
A Foundation of Experience and Dedication
Before joining Barts Electric, Colton served seven and a half years in the U.S. Army Reserves, bringing with him discipline and teamwork skills that have translated seamlessly into the electrical construction field. He also worked as a welder at Altec and gained experience in underground construction — from directional drilling and cable plowing to power and fiber optic installations. These experiences built a strong foundation for his transition into the electrical industry, where precision, safety, and leadership matter most.
