Carson: Mrs. Luella and I’m Leah. We’re out here at the lake, biking. It’s a lot of fun, having a good time with everyone that’s part of the cruise and previous jobs. It’s just a blast. Yep, so he’s on a boat, Barts Electric on a boat. It’s the culture compared to the last two companies. My previous one was good; the first one that I worked for wasn’t. But there’s a lot of good culture, a lot of family closeness, and here is the same.

It’s, uh, I love the family-oriented part. Everyone’s family-oriented; everyone focuses on you as the individual—the breadwinner. Take care of you; you take care of the family. And that’s what we’re all here about, and try and keep people local. And then the Red Hat program, I’ve never seen anything like it—teaching and training in-house since. It’s just awesome, but Bar None what I’ve seen compared to the other companies. They’re just like, “Oh, just go on the field and figure it out.” And more often than not, you don’t get paid. You don’t get paired with one-on-one training with the journey, and then you just kind of figure it out. You’ve seen through swim. But here, you’ve got a fighting chance to do what you can and learn.

Always have job security; everyone needs power, everyone needs lights, even in temporary solutions with generators for, you know, if some reason goes down. That’s what we do; we build and we sustain life. Even at hospitals, even on military bases, which is why our contracts have been for the past. We’ve got a good end where we have huge jobs; we’re a power for the world, and you need it.
