Scope
Construction of new, 2-story field office and immigration detention facility/jail for the Department of Homeland Security composed of a Sally Port for deportation busses on the 1st floor leading into the containment area where the men’s and women’s holding cells and control center are located. The first floor also consisted of secure visitation rooms along with offices and cubicle spaces with the mechanical system/room being centrally located. The second-floor housed office space and cubicles as well as a secure file room for sensitive information. Scope of work consisted of all electrical including standby generator, access controls, fire alarm, three elevator systems and extensive mechanical system electrical installations.
