At Barts Electric, success is built on more than wires, circuits, and blueprints—it’s built on people. As a national electrical construction contractor, Barts Electric takes pride not only in the quality of its work but in the strength of its culture and the dedication of its team. For electricians and those looking to start a career in the electrical trade, Barts Electric offers more than just a job—it offers growth, mentorship, and a team that genuinely cares.

A Culture That Starts at the Top

Every great company begins with leadership that sets the tone. At Barts Electric, that leadership starts with Bart himself. As one team member shared, “I really believe in what Bart says when he says that he cares about us. It feels like he does his best to take care of us and everybody in the company also.”

That sense of care and responsibility filters down through every level of the company. It’s part of what makes Barts Electric a place where people want to work—and stay. The culture is built on respect, teamwork, and a shared desire to succeed.

Hiring Great People with Great Attitudes

Barts Electric is known for hiring individuals who not only have skill but also a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. As one electrician noted, “They really do a great job when they hire people—finding those that want to work, are willing to learn, and do their very best.”

This approach helps create a positive environment on every job site. From new apprentices to experienced journeymen, everyone contributes to the shared mission of excellence and continual improvement.

Mentorship and Growth on the Job

For many at Barts Electric, growth comes from the opportunities to learn directly from experienced mentors. “I feel like I’ve been built by them just taking their time with me,” one team member explained. “They do everything they can to help me become a better electrician and person.”

He went on to describe the mentorship he received from Carson, a leader who “took him under his wing” and guided him through the challenges of taking over a major project—the old Roy building, known as Building One. Together, they developed a detailed three-week plan that kept the project on schedule and on target.

I feel like I’ve been built by them just taking their time with me and allowing me to learn, and also doing everything they can to help me become a better electrician and person.
One of those guys that’s really helped me is Carson. He’s always been there for me to basically take care of whatever I’ve needed, and it’s been really nice that he’s kind of taken me under his wing a little bit.
I took over Building One, Old Roy, that Walmart building. It was a lot of work and a lot of cleanup. Having him in my corner really helped me plan everything out, get my three-week plan together. He helped me do that so that I was able to work off that plan and stick to the timelines and the goals that we had.
